はじめまして!

はじめまして! ("Glad to meet you")

Just starting out by saying, "hey." This thing probably won't get off the ground until I'm back on the ground in Japan sometime June 24th. (Maybe not even then with jet-lag.) Anyhow. This is where I'm hoping to keep family and friends updated on my time in Japan as I learn the beautiful language and more about the phenomenal culture. This blog might turn into something more (like the "catch-all" that I mentioned in the description with the other "caught stuff" including just me typing some things out). Well, for now, this will have to do. I might try experimenting with videos and HTML or CSS or whatever as a project to show I really live in this digital age and as something to do when I don't have homework and so I don't spend my whole time playing video games...

Well, if anyone sees this, you're welcome to check back on occasion. Who knows? Maybe I'll post some stuff during the last few weeks of school. :)

エミリー (Emily in katakana)
どうぞよろしく ! ("Best regards")

P.S. I might start the blog out by giving brief lessons about Japanese (日本語) so that way, when I post in/about the language, people will at least know pronunciation, what they're reading, etc.
